Selma’s multidisciplinary practice spans architecture, site-specific installations and cultural research, exploring the relationship between material, memory and place. Bridging artisanal craftsmanship, advanced fabrication and experimental design, she creates immersive environments that connect architectural, human and ecological intelligence. Her research-driven practice combines architectural precision with material experimentation and cultural exchange. Her work has been presented internationally, including at the Venice Architecture Biennale, Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, Alcova Miami and Venice Design Biennale. She collaborates worldwide with cultural institutions, universities, manufacturers and artisans, including the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and the Textile & Design Alliance in St. Gallen. Her work has been supported by Pro Helvetia, the Culture Department of the Canton of St. Gallen and the Culture Department of Basel-Stadt. In 2026, her work was nominated for Excellence in Digital Art by the Créateurs Design Awards in Paris.
