There is a box. A place where people sit. A place where clothing exists. A place. The structure of daily life has been subdivided. Each element resolved into an independent product, each discipline kept within its own logic. This proposal refuses that fragmentation.
Based on the proportional and repetitive structures, a line expands into a plane, a plane gains thickness, and thickness becomes a room. The box that results is grounded in the function of a sofa while containing storage within.
A Sitting Room is the design of the outside of a sofa. And that outside becomes a room. Clothing, furniture, and space have each been treated as independent categories. This proposal reconstructs them as one continuous act. A minimum unit of living in which material continuity crosses between body and space.
Open the door, and materials of the Boa Cocoon Blouson from OMAR AFRIDI are revealed. Leather, boa, hardware. Different temperatures and textures, edited onto a single surface. The material collage practiced in clothing migrates into furniture and retains its logic throughout.
