Born in 1988 in Arita, Saga Prefecture, Yuki is a ceramic artist who carries on the legacy of Arita ware—a porcelain tradition with over 400 years of history. In 2012, he began studying white porcelain under Living National Treasure Manji Inoue, deepening his expertise in traditional techniques.
As the third-generation successor in his family, Yuki is committed to preserving the heritage of Arita ware while also exploring its contemporary potential. His work spans collaborations with fashion brands and the creation of ceramic art pieces, offering a fresh perspective on porcelain in modern contexts.

Yuki’s innovative approach has earned him multiple awards, including the Saga Shimbun Cultural Encouragement Prize in 2021. He is recognized for seamlessly blending tradition and innovation, crafting works that honor the past while pushing the boundaries of ceramic expression.

Through his practice, Yuki continues to reimagine Arita ware for future generations, bridging the gap between classical craftsmanship and contemporary design.
