alter. is a platform that pioneers new possibilities in product design.

Guided by a committee of international curators and designers, creators—primarily in their 30s and younger—formed cross-disciplinary teams to propose projects that question the functions and aesthetics of future products. The event redefines not only the value of the product itself, but also the processes of making and the creative engagement of its audience.

Through programs such as talk sessions addressing the challenges of contemporary design, an on-site market where products can be purchased, and live performances, alter. cultivates a community where the creativity of the emerging generation takes shape.
