Sculptor

Asako Ishizaki is an artist who explores expressions rooted in the reality of the streets. Her creative activities encompass sculpture, video, and performance art. Completed an MFA in Sculpture at Musashino Art University in 2023. Some of her notable works include “City Angle” (2021), which focuses on the relationship between Shibuya’s slopes and the body, and “Tracing City” (2022-23), inspired by actions taken by skaters and graffiti writers in the city. Through real experiences gained by drifting through city spaces, reconstructs alternative perspectives on the urban environment. Recent exhibitions include "ATAMI ART GRANT 2024" (Atami City, Shizuoka, 2024), "P.O.N.D.2023 Dialogue" (PARCO MUSEUM TOKYO, Tokyo, 2023), and "CGC" (CON_, Tokyo, 2022).
