Motivated by the aftermath of the Great East Japan Earthquake, they pursued studies in architecture. With a focus on sustainability, they have gained extensive experience in architectural and product design. Their creative process spans a diverse range of fields—including spatial design, installations, graphics, and digital fabrication—exploring the connections between various methods to craft both physical objects and meaningful experiences.
At the heart of their practice lies an inquiry into the potential and challenges of local communities, cultures, and materials, as well as the approaches needed to harness them. They aim to weave together sustainable, enriched lifestyles and relationships that honor the inherent values found within everyday life.
