PAN- PROJECTS / Co-founder

PAN- PROJECTS is a London-based art and architectural design studio co-founded by Yuriko Yagi and Kazumasa Takada.
Working across scales and disciplines, the studio conceives architecture as an art of fabrication – constructing stories that carry meaningful messages to share.

The studio’s work has received international recognition. Highlights include “RIBA J Rising Star Award” (UK, 2025), the solo exhibition “Know the Ropes” (2024, ES) organised by the European Capital of Culture Tartu, “Dezeen Awards, Emerging Architecture Studio longlist” (UK, 2021); “The Matter of Facts” at the National Art Center, Tokyo (JP, 2021), “Young European Architects, Honourable Mention” at the Venice Biennale(IT, 2021) and 1st Prize for “Paper Pavilion” at CHART, the Copenhagen Art Fair Architecture Award (DK, 2017).

Alongside the studio, Kazumasa has taught at the Royal College of Art (UK) since 2022, where he co-leads an MA studio dedicated to experimental architectural reuse. Yuriko is a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) J Rising Star Winner 2025, recognised for her contributions to the next generation of architectural innovators.
