Transitioning from the IT industry to forestry, he served as Secretary General of the Akigawa Timber Cooperative before founding Shin-Mirai Co., Ltd. in 2016. Guided by the mission of “Sustainable Forest,” he leads business initiatives promoting sustainable timber utilization. These center on the “SHIN-MIRAI DataBase”—a platform consolidating industry data—and include the AI agent “Laurel,” the timber information media “eTREE,” and consulting services across the forestry and timber sectors.
